Julia Lozano: Argentine Illustrator in Madrid with a Kawaii Obsession

City: Madrid (from Argentina).

Bio: I have been a graphic designer and digital illustrator for many years. It has been my passion since I was a child and I always found a reason to draw :) I am a fan of Japan, its culture, and kawaii illustration.

Most used techniques: Digital illustration.

How would you define your work, any obsession: I love giving personality to objects and food (I like them to have little eyes! ^-^)

Any main source of inspiration: Mr. Lemonade inspired me greatly with a digital illustration course I took with him, and since then I have been refining my technique and practicing more. Although specifically in the "kawaii" world, I have many influencers that I follow on social media such as Paula Bugueño and Becky Cas.

What projects are you working on? Something you want to tell us: I would love to dedicate myself exclusively to illustration for my entire life; that is my goal.

What do you expect from POPnK: I hope to have fun and show my true self through my illustrations.

What do you think is the future of POP art to come?: I believe that a strong collaboration between illustrators and artificial intelligence is on the horizon, and it will be impossible to avoid.
